Employer Fraud and Information Hotline - 1-877-MASSAFE
1-877-MASSAFE - (877-627-7233) Ext. 214 - To Report Employer Fraud Ext. 560 - For Employer Compliance Information The Investigation Unit of the DIA has announced the establishment of a "Tipsters Hotline", for citizens to anonymously report persons or businesses that they believe may be in violation of Massachusetts Workers Compensation laws. The new recorded message line (Ext. 214) is located in the Investigation Unit of the DIA and will be checked daily by unit staff. Callers will hear a recorded message, instructing them to leave information regarding the suspected violators. Employers can get information on coverage requirements by dialing Ext. 560. Persons calling within the 617 area code, or outside the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, can call 617-727-4900. Persons within Massachusetts, calling from outside the 617 area code, can call 1-877-MASSAFE - (877-627-7233)
