Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer 7 and 8 are at best very buggy. Many times the user will encounter compatibility issues when visiting websites, Now this was not always the case. Previously explorer had the market share and web pages would be what is called 'IE friendly'. Website designers followed html guidelines for designing websites which explore could read and decipher thus rendering the website acceptably viewable.

Internet Explorer was a forgiving browser but this is no longer the case with new and stricter design protocols in place. Explore doesn't have the capability to understand some of these new coding 'rules', and pages can show incorrectly. Browsers such as FireFox and Opera follow these stricter 'coding rules' and web designers have adapted to these codes.

This category will cover known compatibility issue with internet explorer and some fixes you can do yourself, right in your browser.
